What is Trans Wise Trans Strong about?

Trans Wise Trans Strong aims to raise awareness of what it means to be trans, nonbinary and intersex, by providing factual information, and challenging the misinformation about these communities.

Also, it is not limited to the trans, nonbinary and intersex communities, but encompasses the wider LGBTQIA+ community.

Who hosts the podcast?

The podcast is a solo effort by me, therefore if an error creeps into an episode it may not be picked up straightaway, for example in "What Are Words Worth", I moved the 1885 Criminal Law Amendment Act to 1985, I know the eighties were a scary time, the cold war, AIDS, but being gay wasn't criminalised then.

Although given the ignorant homophobia that surrounded AIDS, I suspect there were those that would have advocated for this.

What topics are covered?

I explore a wide range of topics, including; gender identity, sexual orientation, social injustice, and the ongoing scapegoating of trans, nonbinary and intersex people.
